Title: MMI Workers Make Campus Cleaner One Piece of Trash At A Time
Paper: Central Michigan Life
By:Connor Sheridan

I felt that this article was news worthy because it was talking about something on a positive note. There are not many times when the newspaper puts good news on the front page.

This article was about a man named Steve Niger and his work at CMU. Mr. Niger handicapped and works with Mid-Michigan Industries. His job is to make sure that the trash on CMU's campus is picked up before the gardeners mow the grass. It's a small responsibility but Steve takes his job seriously. He is proud of his work and is a very hard worker.

Title: Thousands Attend Tea Parties
Paper: The Detroit News
By: Delores Flynn and Valerie Olander

I found this article to be very interesting for several reasons. First because it is talking about our government, country, and fellow citizens. The subject of this article is something that affects everyone. I felt that this was worthy of news because it is something everyone should be aware of.

This article was about how several thousand people gathered together in Jackson, Brighton, and Troy, Michigan to protest the House bill 3200 which is a plan to reform health care. The protests are called Tea Parties. Many people feel that the plan is moving our country in a socialist direction and will not improve our country or economy at all. Many of the people that attended these party rallies said that Washington is not listening to it's people and we have to make ourselves heard.
